Hallo und herzlich willkommen zur Version 2.0! Wir freuen uns, dass du dich für die neue OMSI 2 Management Suite entschieden hast. Dieses Tool wurde von Grund auf neu entwickelt, um nicht nur eine sichere, sondern auch eine komfortable und professionelle Verwaltung deiner OMSI 2-Installation zu ermöglichen.

Es ist mehr als nur ein Backup-Tool – es ist deine Kommandozentrale für ein sorgenfreies Modding-Erlebnis.

Download & Placement

Lade die Datei OMSI2.Management.Suite.v2.0.0.bat herunter. Du kannst die Datei an einem beliebigen Ort speichern, zum Beispiel direkt auf deinem Desktop.

Download the OMSI2.Management.Suite.v2.0.0.bat file. You can save the file anywhere you like, for example, directly on your desktop.

Als Administrator starten

Run as Administrator

Mache einen Rechtsklick auf die Datei und wähle "Als Administrator ausführen". Dies ist entscheidend, da das Tool die Berechtigung benötigt, auf deine OMSI-Installation zuzugreifen und Backups zu erstellen.

Right-click on the file and select "Run as administrator". This is crucial as the tool needs permission to access your OMSI installation and create backups.

Beim ersten Start fragt das Tool nach dem Pfad zu deinem OMSI 2-Hauptverzeichnis. Kopiere den Pfad aus dem Windows Explorer und füge ihn in das Fenster des Tools ein. Das Tool erstellt daraufhin automatisch einen Ordner namens _OB24_BACKUPS in deinem OMSI-Verzeichnis. Alle Backups werden ab sofort sauber in diesem Ordner gespeichert.

On its first run, the tool will ask for the path to your main OMSI 2 directory. Copy the path from Windows Explorer and paste it into the tool's window. The tool will then automatically create a folder named _OB24_BACKUPS inside your OMSI directory. All backups will be stored neatly in this folder from now on.

Das Herzstück der Suite. Von hier aus steuerst du alle Aktionen. Im Vergleich zur Vorversion ist das Tool nun eine vollwertige Management-Zentrale.

  • [1-4] Bereiche verwalten: Wähle, ob du deine Maps, Vehicles, .hof-Dateien oder Options-Presets sichern, wiederherstellen oder verwalten möchtest.
  • [5] DLC Scanner: Ein schnelles Diagnose-Tool, das dein OMSI-Verzeichnis auf Schlüsseldateien bekannter, offizieller DLCs prüft und dir eine Liste der gefundenen Addons anzeigt.
  • [8] Backup-Ordner öffnen: Öffnet den _OB24_BACKUPS Ordner direkt im Windows Explorer für schnellen Zugriff.

The heart of the suite. From here, you control all actions. Compared to the previous version, the tool is now a full-fledged management center.

  • [1-4] Manage Areas: Choose whether you want to back up, restore, or manage your Maps, Vehicles, .hof-files, or Options-Presets.
  • [5] DLC Scanner: A quick diagnostic tool that scans your OMSI directory for key files of known official DLCs and displays a list of the add-ons found.
  • [8] Open Backup Folder: Opens the _OB24_BACKUPS folder directly in Windows Explorer for quick access.

Jeder Verwaltungsbereich bietet dir nun erweiterte Möglichkeiten:

  • Backup erstellen: Du kannst entweder einen Standard-Namen mit Datum und Uhrzeit verwenden oder einen eigenen, beschreibenden Namen wie vor-addon-installation vergeben.
  • Backup wiederherstellen: Stellt die ausgewählte Sicherung zuverlässig wieder her. Gelöschte Ordner und Dateien werden dabei neu erstellt.
  • Backups verwalten (Löschen): Hier kannst du gezielt einzelne oder mehrere Backups gleichzeitig löschen (z.B. durch Eingabe von 1,3,5).
  • Backup-Details anzeigen: Zeigt dir eine detaillierte Liste aller Dateien und Ordner, die in einem Backup enthalten sind, ohne es wiederherstellen zu müssen.

Each management area now offers you advanced options:

  • Create Backup: You can either use a default name with date and time or assign a custom, descriptive name like before-addon-install.
  • Restore Backup: Reliably restores the selected backup. Deleted folders and files will be recreated in the process.
  • Manage Backups (Delete): Here you can specifically delete single or multiple backups at once (e.g., by entering 1,3,5).
  • Show Backup Details: Displays a detailed list of all files and folders contained in a backup without having to restore it.

Version 2.0 ist eine komplette Neuentwicklung mit Fokus auf Stabilität und Komfort.

Dedizierter Backup-Ordner: Dein OMSI-Verzeichnis bleibt sauber! Alle Backups landen automatisch im Ordner _OB24_BACKUPS.

Benutzerdefinierte Namen & Versionierung: Gib deinen Backups sprechende Namen. Das Tool verhindert dank automatischer Versionierung (z.B. "Test (2)") zuverlässig, dass du aus Versehen eine Sicherung überschreibst.

Multi-Delete: Spare Zeit, indem du mehrere alte Backups auf einmal löschst.

Das passiert fast immer, wenn Administrator-Rechte fehlen. Starte das Tool immer mit "Als Administrator ausführen".

Wo werden die Backups gespeichert?

Alle Backups (.ob24bak-Dateien) werden in einem separaten Ordner namens _OB24_BACKUPS in deinem OMSI 2-Hauptverzeichnis abgelegt, um alles sauber und übersichtlich zu halten.

This almost always happens if administrator rights are missing. Always start the tool with "Run as administrator".
