<p>[PAID EFFECTS] NOUL'S RESHADE PRESET 2024</p><p><br></p><p>This preset aims to simulate lighting effects and shadows, enhancing the realism of OMSI.</p><p><br></p><p>Installation Instructions:</p><ol><li>Visit <a href="https://reshade.me/">Home</a> to install ReShade. Choose omsi.exe (Note: Select Vulkan if DXVK is installed for the game's Render API, otherwise choose DirectX 9).</li><li>Install the original effects (optional, depending on whether you want to add additional effects).</li></ol>
<p>As this preset utilizes paid effects, it is necessary to purchase them from <a href="https://www.patreon.com/c/mcflypg">Get more from Pascal Gilcher on Patreon</a>. The preset comes in two versions - RTGI (simulating lighting effects) and Relight (simulating shadow effects). If using RTGI, purchase the Ray Tracers Tier; otherwise, for Relight, purchase the Path Tracers Tier. After purchase, obtain the files from their Discord and extract them into the reshade-shaders folder in the OMSI folder.</p><p><br></p><p>Important Notes:</p><ol><li>Disable shadows in the OMSI settings for proper functionality.</li><li>When in-game or after changing the time, point the camera towards the sky to ensure correct lighting intensity.</li><li>Since this effect only simulates lighting and shadows, it is not entirely accurate but enhances the game's realism.</li><li>Ensure you have a capable GPU for optimal performance.</li></ol>
