Wer kennt es nicht: Man hat stundenlang an Hofdateien gebastelt, eine neue Map ausprobiert und plötzlich ist die ganze Installation hinüber oder zickt nur noch rum.</p><p>Genau dafür habe ich das <strong>OMSI 2 Backup System</strong> geschrieben. Es ist eine einfache, aber komplette Lösung, um die wichtigsten Teile eurer OMSI-Installation zu sichern und bei Bedarf wiederherzustellen.</p><p><strong>Das Backup-System ist das Ergebnis unserer Mission:</strong> Euch ein stabiles, pflegendes Tool an die Hand zu geben, damit ihr mehr Zeit mit Fahren und weniger mit Ordner-Chaos verbringt.</p><h4>Was das Tool in der aktuellen Version kann</h4>
<p>Das Tool dient als zentrales Menü für vier wichtige Bereiche der Vorsorge und Stabilität:</p><ul><li><strong>Hofdateien:</strong> Sichert alle eure IBIS-Dateien. Ihr könnt sie später entweder gezielt in einen Busordner kopieren oder komplett für alle Fahrzeuge wiederherstellen.</li><li><strong>Maps:</strong> Macht komplette Backups eurer Karten, bevor ihr neue Add-ons installiert. Geht was schief, seid ihr auf der sicheren Seite.</li><li><strong>Fahrzeuge:</strong> Sichert euren gesamten Fuhrpark und die wichtigsten Bus-Ordner.</li><li><strong>Einstellungen:</strong> Friert eure Grafik- und Steuerungseinstellungen ein. So müsst ihr nach Problemen nie wieder alles neu einstellen.</li></ul>
<h4>⚙️ Wie es funktioniert (Anleitung)</h4>
<p>Ganz einfach und ohne Installation:</p><ol><li>Ladet die ZIP-Datei <code>OMSI2 Backup System.zip</code> herunter.</li><li>Entpackt die ZIP-Datei. Ihr erhaltet einen Ordner mit dem Inhalt des Projekts.</li><li>Öffnet diesen Ordner. Die eigentliche Anwendung ist die <strong><code>OMSI2.BackupSystem.v1.0.0.stable.bat</code></strong>.</li><li>Macht einen Rechtsklick auf diese <code>.bat</code>-Datei und wählt <strong>"Als Administrator ausführen"</strong>.</li><li>Gebt beim ersten Start einmalig den Pfad zu eurem OMSI 2-Hauptverzeichnis an. <p>The tool serves as a central menu for four crucial areas of precaution and stability:</p><ul><li><strong>HOF Files:</strong> Backs up all your IBIS files. You can later restore them either specifically to a single bus folder or completely for all vehicles.</li><li><strong>Maps:</strong> Creates complete backups of your maps before installing new addons. If something goes wrong, you're on the safe side.</li><li><strong>Vehicles:</strong> Backs up your entire vehicle fleet and the most important bus folders.</li><li><strong>Settings:</strong> Freezes your graphics and control settings.
