<p>Chassis: TuttoTrasporti UPB C2 EX DRG</p><p>Body: Marcopolo Gran Viale 2003/2004.</p><p>Engine: Hybrid, electric + Diesel: International DT466E 170cv EURO II electronic PROCONVE P-4</p><p>Electric system:Eletra.</p><p>Transmission:Automatic.</p><p>4 Cell battery bank.</p><p>Capacity: 33 seats and 48 standing points</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>This bus was produced in 2003 for the São Paulo city fleet. They were the first Hybrid Bus with 2 front steering axles.</p><p><br></p><p>They arrived in 2004 at the Marta Suplicy management, in a batch with 15 units, being part of the public fleet and were lent</p><p>to Gatusa to work on the 5300 line. The original color was silver to indicate that it was in a neutral area.</p><p><br></p><p>They were the first Gran Viale buses in São Paulo.</p><p>These were the most advanced buses on São Paulo system at their time, with air conditioning, camera system, total low floor and Flip Dot internal and external matrix.</p><p><br></p><p>In 2007, shortly after the inauguration of Expresso Tiradentes, 14 of them were assigned to Via Sul and the last, 7 6905</p><p>was reserved for tests of the SGM project (Magnetic Guidance System) which would guide the bus in the Expresso Tiradentes without the driver by using magnets.</p><p>This unit wasn't painted in the green pattern of São Paulo 5th area.</p><p>The project did not work and the bus was prematurely retired due to serious mechanical problems, but it was saved for</p><p>the future transport museum of São Paulo.</p><p><br></p><p>After some time the unit 5 3908 spontaneously caught fire, after that the drivers started to be more careful when driving these vehicles, but some time later another unit also had a fire.</p><p>In 2013 they were retired because of their expensive maintenance due to imported parts and constant mechanical problems.</p><p>These buses were replaced by the first 15 Millennium BRT O500UDA with air conditioning from Via Sul.</p><p><br></p><p>Almost all of them were dismantled, and only that of the SGM tests is preserved in the Santa Rita yard of the CMTC and it is still complete.</p><p><br></p><p>The chassis had very rare parts in Brazil, such as Rába's traction axle (which was only seen on other Tutto chassis) and Navistar International engines.</p><p><woltlab-metacode data-name="attach" data-attributes="WyI2NjExMSIsIm5vbmUiLCJmYWxzZSJd"></woltlab-metacode><woltlab-metacode data-name="attach" data-attributes="WyI2NjExNSIsIm5vbmUiLCJmYWxzZSJd"></woltlab-metacode></p><p><woltlab-metacode data-name="attach" data-attributes="WyI2NjExNSIsIm5vbmUiLCJ0cnVlIl0="></woltlab-metacode><woltlab-metacode data-name="attach" data-attributes="WyI2NjExNCIsIm5vbmUiLCJ0cnVlIl0="></woltlab-metacode><woltlab-metacode data-name="attach" data-attributes="WyI2NjExMCIsIm5vbmUiLCJ0cnVlIl0="></woltlab-metacode><woltlab-metacode data-name="attach" data-attributes="WyI2NjExMiIsIm5vbmUiLCJ0cnVlIl0="></woltlab-metacode><woltlab-metacode data-name="attach" data-attributes="WyI2NjExMyIsIm5vbmUiLCJ0cnVlIl0="></woltlab-metacode><woltlab-metacode data-name="attach" data-attributes="WyI2NjEyMSIsIm5vbmUiLCJ0cnVlIl0="></woltlab-metacode></p>
